BLUEFIELD —
A Green Valley man has been arrested on charges related to a crime spree that started during the weekend and continued until early this week.
Michael D. Beck, 30, was charged with two counts of conspiracy against the state, grand larceny, receiving stolen property and first-degree robbery stemming from a string of crimes including the armed robbery of the Executive Lounge in Green Valley.
Cpl. A.P. Christian of the Princeton Detachment, West Virginia State Police said Trooper W.H. File, also of the Princeton Detachment, was able to locate the suspect after finding bullet holes in his vehicle. The part-owner of the lounge fired some rounds “in defense” after the robbery early Sunday morning, Christian said.
For more details about this arrest, see Thursday’s edition of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph.
