PRINCETON —
The Mercer County Commission has approved a boundary adjustment that brings more than 30 acres of land along John Nash Boulevard into the city limits of Bluefield.
City Attorney Brian Cochran said during the public hearing this morning that Bluefield owns the property, and the annexation does not include any private property. Part of the land will be the new home of the Bluefield Transit Authority.
The boundary adjustment was approved 2-0 with commissioner Joe Coburn absent.
