BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Traffic was stalled near the Virginia-West Virginia state line this morning due to a single-vehicle accident on Virginia Avenue.
A vehicle went over the embankment next to the Pop Shop convenience store on Virginia Avenue at approximately 8:30 a.m., according to a spokesperson with Tazewell County 911 Dispatch.
No one was injured in the accident, and the road was temporarily blocked as emergency crews worked to pull the vehicle out of the embankment.
The Bluefield, Va. Police Department and Bluefield, Va. Rescue Squad both responded to the scene.
