Three volunteer fire departments are currently battling a blaze that has destroyed an abandoned Maybeury house.
Assistant Chief Eric Graham of the Northfork Volunteer Fire Department, said water had to be pumped from a nearby creek to fight the fire. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
