MATOAKA —
The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources has re-issued boil water advisories for four different Mercer County communities.
A boil water advisory was re-issued for the Weyanoke Giatto Water System in Matoaka, the Pinnacle Water Association in the McComas area, the Windmill Gap Water System in Rock, and the Hiawatha Water Association in Hiawatha.
According to the DHHR, the systems are under boil water advisories for failure to properly monitor drinking water and the lack of a properly certified operator. No date was given for when the advisories will be lifted.
