PRINCETON —
A man facing multiple charges in connection with the March murder of a local resident pleaded not guilty this morning in Mercer County Circuit Court.
Gerald W. Little, 60, now incarcerated at the Southern Regional Jail in Beaver, pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder, burglary, and robbery in the March 1 death of Jerry Buckner, who was found stabbed to death inside his Honaker Avenue home in Princeton. Buckner is related to former Mercer County Sheriff Harold Buckner.
Little also pleaded not guilty in a separate case to a charge of failure to register as a sex offender.
Senior Status Judge John Hrko was assigned to the case by the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
