A convoy transporting a historic aircraft to its new home in North Carolina is now stationed for the day at Camp Creek in Mercer County.
The aircraft, known as the “Miracle on the Hudson” plane, will remain in Mercer County until about 8 a.m. Thursday morning. The plane is stationed at mile marker 19 at a rest area in Camp Creek.
The plans originally called for the plane to stop near Bluefield, but those plans changed this afternoon.
