— The trial of a Mercer County physician and his financial advisor has been continued until May, according to court documents filed at U.S. District Court in Bluefield this week.
Randy Michael Brodnik, MD of Bluefield, Va., and Ira Kritt of Crofton, Md., were set to stand trial on conspiracy and income tax evasion charges next week, but the court stated in an order entered March 9, that the parties will need time to respond to the court.
U.S. District Judge Irene Berger of the Southern District of West Virginia, rescheduled the Brodnik-Kritt trial for May 4, in Bluefield.
