There was a letter from (a previous letter writer) saying she didn’t understand why any one would need an assault weapon. I think a lot of people don’t understand that in our Constitution it tells us to stay armed in case of an tyrannical government.
We wouldn’t have much of a chance with the government using assault weapons and us without. If you go back though history you’ll see that every time a tyrannical government starts to take over their people the first thing that they have to do is disarm their people.
I hope this helps a lot of people understand why we can’t let this gun grab happen. We have to keep our country free.
