On behalf of the Save a Pet Food Bank, we’d like to thank the Bluefield Daily Telegraph and Prerogative magazine for including us in the latest pet food drive.
The food bank, located at the Bluefield Union Mission, helps many disadvantaged people feed their cats and dogs throughout the month.
This help means fewer animals will be abandoned or taken to the shelter and it also means fewer dogs and cats will go hungry.
A special thank you goes out to Samantha Perry, Jamie Parsell and the people of the Bluefield area that so generously donated pet food.
The pet food received will only last a few months.
The food bank needs donations on a regular basis so we can continue to help the dogs and cats throughout the year.
Thank you again for your concern for the animals.
