God provides definition of marriage

Did you ever in your lifetime think this country would be discussing the definition of marriage? Our leaders in authority, our judges and those who practice a different lifestyle do not seem to understand the meaning of the word. Webster defines it as a “state of being legally joined as husband and wife.” But more importantly, how does God define it?

God makes it very plain in His Word what the definition of marriage is. He defined it in Genesis 1:27, and Jesus repeated it in Matthew 19:4, that marriage is between a male and a female, and for this reason a man will leave his father and mother to be united to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. Need we say more? Don’t these people ever read the Bible?

I just hope and pray that the people of this great state surrounded by the awesome beauty of God’s creation will not have to be called upon to vote on this ridiculous issue.

I have a feeling that we Bible-believing, God-fearing West Virginians would just laugh it right out of court!
