Thank you Bluefield Daily Telegraph for printing my letter and doing a front-page story about the couch and trash under the “no dumping” sign at Kee Dam on Airport Road two weeks ago.
In the interview with the county commission one of the members said, “All you have to do is call us and we will come and get the trash.”
Well, even with my printed letter, your interview and front-page story, the couch and trash still remain.
The trash pile at the main entrance to the water is growing every day.
We are now going on six weeks looking at this mess. If all it takes is a phone call, then why did a front-page story and a printed letter to the editor not make an impact?
Please county commission, do your job and clean up our areas main water source! This beautiful area looks horrible when you pass by.
Thank you again BDT for doing your part to help. So sad it did not work.
