I would like there to be cell phone service in McDowell County. It is not fair that we cannot call our relatives, who may not have house phones.
My family, such as my father, sister, two aunts, two uncles, three cousins, my Mom-maw and my Paw-paw, all live there, and half of them have no house phones, so I can’t talk to them. Also, if there were a wreck on the many mountain roads, you couldn’t call anyone to come help. You would have to leave the person who could be injured and go get help that could be miles away.
Cell phone service could be a valuable addition to the county. Many people will ask me, “Why should we add cell service to McDowell?” Well my answer is why not! My point is, it could help a lot of people.
