The Board of Directors of The Wade Center would like to thank the Greater Bluefield community for its support of our Fine Art and Jewelry Auction held on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Bluefield Elks Lodge.
We had a tremendous outpouring of community support for this event. We are especially grateful to the Bluefield Elks Lodge for donating the space to hold the auction, Highland Laurel Gallery for providing most of the professionally framed and matted artwork, floral assistance from Roses and Rainbows and New Hope Floral, Gary and Debbie Bowling and other local artists who generously donated their works, Marshall Miller & Associates, BB&T;, Frameworks Plus, Corner Chair Designs and Fincastle Country Club.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the countless volunteers who donated their time and energy to make this event a success. On behalf of the board of directors and the children and families we serve, I applaud our community and their generosity. With your help, we are making a difference.
