My name is Jaime Ring. I am a concerned parent of a student at War Elementary. The parents just found out that when our children start the new school at SouthSide in War there isn't enough classrooms for all the students.
So the administration has taken it upon themselves to assign the first grade class of Mrs. Nevi to an oversized closet with no windows.
My daughter is in this class and the Board of Educations answer is to put the kids in a closet!
This is crazy!
I am trying to form a group with the parents so we can fight this decision. I am also contacting the Charleston Gazette. I think this should be made public.
The Board is actually trying to keep this quiet. If all parents knew this was happening it could possibly be stopped.
My daughter will not attend that school if it is not changed. She will not be stuck in a classroom all day with no windows and is an actually storage room.
Please! If there is anything you can do to help I would really appreciate it.
