Just how important is liquifaction?

I read Bill Archer’s article in the Times West Virginian 9/28/06 about the truth and Don Blankenship. I have watched Massey Energy commercials on WBOY-TV about how the liquifaction process helped save the homeland.

Is his homeland Germany?

The United States didn't rely on this process for our fuel requirements to fight the war from what I have read.

Your paper featured an article about it earlier this year but I can't seem to find it now. How much truth do we need to use in reporting to the people of this country?

I know we experimented with this process but never went into full scale production. There used to be a picture at Benedum airport with Senator [Jennings] Randolph and a small airplane in the background that was flown on coal from this process.

I am just a dumb retired coal miner but I prefer the truth, not someone’s version of the truth.

Thanks for reading my rantings.
