This new toll increase on the West Virginia Turnpike is un-American. It has been planned for some time, and these meetings that were held in each county were just for show. People wasted their time and gasoline attending the meetings, as it didn’t make any difference how many people turned out, the tolls will be increased.
The increase wouldn’t be necessary if there were responsible people running the authority. An imbecile knows that if you spend all the toll money collected on Tamarack, ATV trails, a horse park, scholarships, and the Culture Center In Charleston, and not use the money for its intended purpose, that the turnpike will deteriorate and you will need more money.
Mr. Barr and the authority should be fired, because it is evident they cannot control spending. They should be appointed to the Obama administration, and help Obama destroy this country. They are excellent at spending other people’s money. The authority and the Obama administration remind me of the Chicago Mafia. Gov. Manchin needs to step in and clean this incompetent bunch out.
