BLUEFIELD — We just want to take the opportunity to thank Judge Omar Aboulhosn on behalf of Pack 10 for taking time to speak to our young scouts at our annual Blue and Gold Dinner.
He challenged the boys to continue in scouting and offered his personal support to those seeking the rank of Eagle Scout as he himself had achieved this as a young man.
More impressive than his words were those of his actions following the dinner. He stayed behind after the dinner to assist the scouts and their parents in cleaning the dining area, putting up chairs, and sweeping floors. Children are more apt to respect service to others when they see it in action as opposed to just hearing about it. So again thanks for the speech but more importantly thanks for the example that followed.
