They say the definition of “crazy” is to do the same thing over and over again and expecting something different to happen. If that’s true, can somebody please explain to me why we have voted continuously for a one party majority to make decisions for us in Charleston for the last 80 years or so and West Virginia is in the toilet in most areas of importance compared to other states?
It took five minutes to figure out that Obama is bad for West Virginia and it has nothing to do with his race. But we can’t wrap our brains around the fact that the way we have been voting for nearly a century has put us in the poor house and is keeping us there?
The bottom line is the people we have sent to Charleston in the past are either responsible for, or unable to fix what’s wrong with this state. Tuesday, don’t be content with mediocrity and empty promises. We need a new team not just new faces. I do not doubt the good intentions of those that have gone before, but I do recall a famous road that is paved with good intentions.
