I think the free lunch for needy children is an excellent program. For some children this is the only meal they get.
Money isn’t given to parents to buy anything but food. The child doesn’t have to worry about losing the money or getting it stolen.
Whether the child gets supper or not, they will feel secure knowing a healthy lunch will be ready for them every day at school.
Sometimes reaching out to someone less fortunate than yourself can turn that person’s life around and they become the person reaching out to someone.
Do you dare to be the one reaching out?
Many churches and communities are doing backpack programs where the child’s backpack is filled up every Friday after school to help families have food for the weekend.
This is a worthwhile program and the children will be grateful to you.
Please give as you can.
