This letter is concerning the black mulch that has been placed around the playground areas at some of the schools. It is a shame that the children come home looking like they have been working in the coal mines.
Whoever had the idea to put black mulch at the playgrounds should have to play in it for at least an hour to see how dirty it is. I think the Board of Education should do something about correcting this situation. If any other parents have their children coming home looking like a coal miner, they should also complain to the Board of Education.
