PITTSBURGH —
Officials say a second bear has been spotted at a suburban Pittsburgh mall where another bear was captured after getting stuck inside a department store.
The latest bear first emerged near an Olive Garden restaurant at the Pittsburgh Mills mall in Frazer around 11:45 p.m. Saturday. That was less than two hours after officials tranquilized a smaller bear that had gotten inside a Sears store.
Officials say the second bear was not captured and then reappeared around 7:45 p.m. Sunday, backing up traffic on a nearby highway. State game officials say they will likely set up a trap to try to catch the animal on Monday.
Officials say the first bear walked into Sears around 9 p.m. Saturday and growled at customers. It was eventually tranquilized and taken away.
