New retail outlet department store coming to Bluefield, Va.

BLUEFIELD, Va. —  A new retail outlet department store is coming to Bluefield, Va.

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, one of the nation’s largest retailers of closeout merchandise, will open early next year at the old Big Lot’s store in Bluefield, Va. at the College Plaza Shopping Center, according to town officials.

“It actually pretty well fills all of the vacant big box stores we had vacant,” Bluefield, Va. Mayor Don Harris said. “And I might say also that our staff has worked continually to fill all of the vacant buildings — particularly the big box buildings — in Bluefield, Va.”

There is currently an Ollie’s Bargain Outlet located in Beckley in Raleigh County.

For more on the new business, when it will open, and what consumers can expect, see Friday’s edition of the Daily Telegraph.
