BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) — Police are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Beckley Correctional Center.
Media outlets report that 26-year-old Joseph Cody Genet was discovered missing during an inmate count early Monday morning.
He was serving a one-to-15-year sentence at the minimum-security facility for burglary charges in Wayne County.
