PRINCETON —
Three fire departments are presently on the scene of a blaze at an unattached garage on 7th Street in Princeton.
The fire was originally reported as a brush fire around 1:45 p.m. between Highland Avenue and Straley Avenue. Cpt. Chad Bailey of the Princeton Fire Department said the structure was fully involved by the time crews arrived on scene, and at least two vehicles were destroyed in the blaze. Heat from the fire also burned off telephone, electric and cable wires attached to the garage.
The street has been blocked off to traffic as a result of the blaze.
