BLUEFIELD —
Three fire departments are on the scene of a fully involved structure fire at Bath Street in Bluefield.
Firefighters from the Bluefield Fire Department, Bluefield, Va. Fire Department and Glenwood-Green Valley Volunteer Fire Department are battling the blaze at a residence on Bath Street. Smoke is visible throughout downtown Bluefield. Three of the occupants who were home at that time, 33-year-old Cathleen Williams and two children, escaped through a back door when she noticed smoke in the house.
The Bluefield Rescue Squad and Appalachian Power crews are also responding to the scene.
