Jennings headed to East Tennessee State Hall of Fame

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Bluefield College assistant basketball coach Keith “Mister” Jennings has been chosen as one of six inductees into the East Tennessee State University Athletics Hall of Fame. Jennings, who was a standout at ETSU from 1987-1991, earned All-America honors and led the Buccaneers during the glory years of its program. He also played for three seasons in the NBA. Among others to be inducted on May 5 will be Atlanta Falcons’ head coach Mike Smith. Smith played for the Bucs from 1978-81 and was named the team’s defensive most valuable player each of the last two seasons. He made 120 tackles in 1980 and 186 tackles in 1981.
