HUNTINGTON — Elijah Pittman led four starters in double figures with 20 points and Nigel Spikes scored 10 of his 11 points in the second half of Marshall’s 75-71 win over Central Florida on Saturday.

Spikes, who had just one point in the first half, broke a 55-all tie with four straight free throws with just over 6 minutes remaining.

The center sandwiched two layups around two Scarver free throws to put Marshall up for good, 68-64.
