ATHENS — R.J. Anderson (left) and Shawnee Carnett (right) has been named the WVIAC male and female Track Athletes of the Week. Carnett, who won for a second straight week, set school records in the 1,000-meter run and in the 400-meter dash at Virginia Tech. Anderson went to Kent State and met the NCAA provisional qualifying standards in the 60-meter dash and in the 200-meter dash. Anderson currently ranks 15th nationally in the 60-meters and 10th in the 200-meters.
