Union College blanks BC women in soccer playoff

BLUEFIELD — The Bluefield College Rams women’s soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Union (Ky.) in a NCCAA Mid-East Regional quarterfinal played on Saturday evening at East River Soccer Complex.

Dionna Linn and Rachael Boswell scored a goal apiece for the Bulldogs (8-9-2).

Stefanie King added an assist.

Kayla Richardson had seven saves in goal for Bluefield.

The best season in the Lady Rams’ program history ended with a 9-10-1 record.
