Ponder on the court for Seahawks

BLUEFIELD —  Craig Ponder, a former standout for the Bluefield Beavers, has scored five points in 27 minutes of action in two games for North Carolina-Wilmington. Ponder, who started three games last season before being sidelined with an ankle injury, has 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists for the 1-1  Seahawks...Former Princeton standout Laura Whitt, who had one more season of eligibility at High Point, decided not to play another season...Tyler Brown, a product of Honaker, who played at the University of Hawaii last year, is not listed on the roster for the Warriors.
