CU's Miller is baseball player of the week

PRINCETON — For the fourth time in 2013, a Concord baseball player has earned weekly recognition by the WVIAC. First baseman Joey Miller was named WVIAC player of the week Monday after helping lead the Mountain Lions to a 3-1 weekend. He hit two home runs and had 11 RBI in the series with Indiana (Pa.), batting .412 with a .500 on-base percentage, a .824 slugging percentage and five runs scored. His 17 RBI so far this year leads the league.
