PRINCETON —
For the fifth time this season, Concord University men's s cross country standout Robby Peters has been named the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
The award gives Peters the most Runner of the Week honors by a men's cross country athlete in the conference since 2007.
Peters continued his career-year with yet another victory last weekend. The senior won the Concord Alumni Invitational, his fourth win of the year, with a time of 26:19.59. Peters completed the course 1:05.00 faster than the event's second-place finisher.
His individual victory helped the Concord men to a first place team-finish as well.
Peters and the rest of Concord men's cross country team will compete at the WVIAC Championships in Greensburg, Pa. on Oct. 20.
