Four WVIAC hoops teams playing on

— Four West Virginia Conference basketball teams will keep on playing in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region tournament.

The West Liberty men got the regional No. 1 seed for the third straight year and will host the regional tournament. The Hilltoppers (30-1) play Bowie State (16-13), while Fairmont State (22-8) will take on Livingstone (22-6), both on Saturday. The winners of those two games will face off on Sunday.

Among women’s teams, Fairmont State (23-9) will play Gannon (28-4), ranked seventh nationally. Glenville State (26-3), tied for 15th in the Division II national rankings, will take on Shaw (N.C.) (25-4). Both games are on Friday. Gannon hosts the women’s action in Erie, Pa.
