ATHENS —
The University of Charleston women defeated Concord in West Virginia Conference action Thursday evening at the Carter Center.
The Golden Eagles netted 14 three-point shots in the game and shot 50 percent from the field.
Andrea Bretrand led Cocord and all scorers with 30 points and she snagged 11 boards. Amanda Smith added 11.
Chelsea Brumby led Charleston with 17.
Bluefield 64, Virginia-Wise 47
BLUEFIELD, Va. —The Bluefield College Lady Rams rolled to a 64-47 Mid-South win over UVa Wise, Thursday night at Dome Gymnasium. No further details were available.

Charleston 66, Concord 50
ATHENS — Nick Ruffin came off the bench to score 14 points, but it was not enough for Concord as Charleston defeated the Mountain Lions.
The Golden Eagles were led by Terrell Lipkins’ game-high 23 points.
Thomas Brown and Damien Tunstalle had 10 points apiece for CU.
The Concord men and women play Saturday afternoon at Bluefield State.
Virginia-Wise 82, Bluefield 72
BLUEFIELD, Va. — UVa Wise picked up a Mid-South Athletic Conference men’s basketball win, Thursday night at Dome Gymnasium. No further details were available.
Bluefield will host Pikeville in a doubleheader on Saturday.
