Bluefield College tabs Roberts as X/C coach

BLUEFIELD, Va. — Bluefield College alum Travis Roberts has been hired as the cross country coach at his alma mater, according to BC Athletic Director Peter Dryer.

Roberts ran cross country at Tazewell High School and graduated from Bluefield in 2001.

Roberts is the owner of Techpacity and recently did weather forecasts for WVVA.  He has also served in the past with Destiny Outreach Ministries.



Rams place 3 on MSC team

BLUEFIELD, Va. — Bluefield College placed three women’s soccer players on the All-Mid-South Conference team.

Pip Pattison, right, was a first team honoree, while Enajah Winbush and Missy Baines were tabbed as honorable mention selections.

Bluefield finished its first season in the MSC with a 9-10-1 record, a vast improvement on a 2-16-1 mark in 2011.
