WR Ivan McCartney leaves West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia's Ivan McCartney has left the team for personal reasons, becoming the second wide receiver to quit the Mountaineers in a week.

Coach Dana Holgorsen didn't elaborate on McCartney's exit Monday.

A junior, McCartney had nine catches for 112 yards this season.

Freshman wide receiver Travares Copeland quit the team last week.

West Virginia (5-4, 2-4 Big 12) has lost four straight and plays at home against No. 13 Oklahoma (7-2, 5-1) on Saturday.
