Concord, BSC, BC defeated at the volleyball net

ATHENS — Concord dropped a WVIAC volleyball match to Seton Hill 25-16, 25-22, 25-16 on Friday night at the Carter Center.

Sarah Jones led Concord with 10 kills and five digs. Brytni Willis contributed eight digs and five kills, while Lindsey Smith had 14 digs. Nikki McMillian dished out 12 assists.

Concord (14-14, 5-4) will host Fairmont State today at 11 a.m.



Fairmont State 3, Bluefield State 0

BLUEFIELD — Ashley Reid collected five kills and nine digs, but the Lady Blues were stopped 25-7, 25-11, 25-11 by the Falcons.

Courtney Bowlus added seven assists for BSC.

 

Rio Grande 3, Bluefield 0

RIO GRANDE, Ohio — Reigning Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Jasmine Morrow contributed nine kills and six digs, but the Lady Rams lost to Rio Grande.

Colby Combs added six kills and eight digs, while Cheznee Daily dished out 17 assists.
