Body found in MSU dormitory

Police say foul play not suspected

A body was found in Mountain State University’s Hogan Hall Wednesday; however, a Beckley Police officer at the scene said there was nothing at that time to indicate a suspicious death.

At approximately 10:45 a.m., the officer said that a medical examiner had been called.

The officer could not speak as to whether the body was that of an MSU student. He did say that officials were called to scene because no one had heard from the subject in a few days.

Also responding at Hogan Hall were two Jan Care ambulances and at least two medical technicians.
