SPRINGVILLE, Va. —
Deputies with the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office are currently seeking a breaking and entering suspect who allegedly shot an individual this afternoon in the Springville area.
“Preliminary indications are that we have an alleged breaking and entering, and one victim that is being transported with a gunshot wound,” Major Harold Heatley of the Tazewell sheriff’s office said at 12:40 p.m. “At this time, the wound does not appear to be life threatening.”
Heatley was not on the scene and did not have additional details. A search is underway in the area of Route 460 in the St. Clair Heights area.
