PRINCETON —
A suspect in a Beckley murder was arrested this afternoon in Bluefield when authorities received an anonymous tip.
Dwayne Lane, 22, of Beckley was arrested at 3 p.m. without incident on Ohio Street, said Sgt. D.W. Miller of the West Virginia State Police detachment near Princeton. Miller made the arrest along with Sgt. C.K. McKenzie.
Lane is facing a charge of first-degree murder in the Sept. 29 death of Shawn Rucker, no age available, of Beckley. Lane is awaiting arraignment in Mercer County before he is transferred back to Raleigh County, Miller said.
