Police arrest one in bank robbery; Search for second suspect

Law enforcement officials in Tazewell County have arrested one man and are actively looking for a second suspect in connection with the armed robbery of the BB&T Bank in Pocahontas, Va., this morning.

The Pocahontas Police Department has arrested one male subject and has taken out warrants on another male, believed to be the brother of the first male subject, according to Chief Deputy Brian Hieatt with the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office. Hieatt said “good information” and cooperation between departments have aided the ongoing investigation.
