BLUEFIELD — Mary A. Winfrey, 59, of Bluefield, died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at her home. Born February 27, 1950 at Anawalt, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. Hall and Mary E. Elswick.

She was of the Methodist faith. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jessica Amanda Winfrey Nowlin in 2007; two sisters, Charlotte Bryer and Donna McCroskey.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Winfrey of Bluefield; one son, Ronnie Winfrey, Jr. and Lynne Fallis of Des Moines, Iowa; one sister, Kay King of Wytheville, Va.; one brother, Roger Hall and wife Rachel of Marion, N.C.; two grandsons, Robert Joshua Nowlin of Kimball and Jadon Morris of Bluefield; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. today, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Dr. Allen Hammond officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 700 5th Avenue, Floor 4, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, or the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
