Ralph Haluski

BLUEFIELD —Ralph Haluski, 76, of Rt. 4 Box 174-SS Bluefield, W.Va. passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Westwood Health Care Center in Bluefield, Va.

Ralph was born on October 27, 1933 in Elkhorn, W.Va. to the late George and Julia Semonco Haluski. He had been a resident of Bluefield for the past 12 years and was a member of St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church in Bluefield, W.Va. where he served as past president. He was a graduate of Concord College with a degree in Business and was a retired employee of Rish Equipment.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George Haluski, Jr., John Haluski and Jimmy Haluski.

Survivors include special friends and caregivers, William and Tiny Coppola of Bluefield, W.Va.; one brother, Donald Haluski of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Mary Obrochta of Farmingdale, N.J., Dorothy Morgan of Highland Springs, Va.

Mass service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church in Bluefield, W.Va. with Father Mark Tyson presiding over the service. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va.

Friends and family may call the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, W.Va. on Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church in Bluefield, W.Va.
