PRINCETON — James Marvin Woods, Jr., 31, of Princeton Avenue, Princeton, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at his residence.
Born August 25, 1978, in Tazewell, Va., he was the son of Kitty Sue Lyons Woods Dickerson of Princeton and the late James Marvin Woods Sr.
Mr. Woods was the manager of Long John Silver on Stafford Drive in Princeton. He was an avid sports fan and loved video games.
Survivors: His mother, Kitty Sue Dickerson of Princeton and step father Anthony Wayne Dickerson; his fiancé, Tina Lee Butler of Princeton; two children, Abigail Paige Stables, Jonathan Michael Baldwin; his sister, Mary Jo Woods of Princeton; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Daniel, Kenneth and Olivia.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor David Damewood officiating. Burial will follow in the Athens Cemetery in Athens.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
