Edward Raymond Pardue

BEDFORD, Va. — Edward Raymond Pardue, 66, of Bedford, Va., passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009 in Bedford, Va. Born April 3, 1943 in Bluefield, W.Va., Edward was the son of Kathryn Vernon Pardue of Bluefield, Va. and the late Edward Raleigh Pardue.

Eddie was a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church and a 19 year member of the Dutch Fork Masonic Lodge F & AM #402 in Columbia, S.C. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his mother, Eddie is survived by his wife, Patricia Teresa Rakowski Pardue; two brothers, Roger Pardue and wife Anna of North Tazewell, Va. and Gary Pardue and wife Harriett of Bluefield, Va.; and two nieces, Dee Dee O’Connell and husband Michael and Mary Elizabeth Pardue.

A celebration of Eddie’s life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at Bedford Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John T. Salley officiating.
