Ella Williams

GRAYSON, Ky. — Ella Williams, 88, of Grayson, Ky., formerly of Raysal, W.Va., passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 in the Hospice Community Center in Ashland, Ky.

Ella was born March 18, 1921 in Raccon, Ky., a daughter of the late Alancian Pharoh and Adeline Coleman Morris. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ in Patterson, Va., and the last surviving member of her original family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Williams; one son, Charles Williams; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Ruby Lyons and husband Coy of Raysal, W.Va.; one son, Jim Williams and wife Kathy of Grayson, Ky.; one granddaughter, Lisa Burnett of Grayson; one grandson, Brian Burnett of Grayson; and three great-grandchildren, Brian Rhodes, McKinzie Burnett and Adam Burnett, all of Grayson.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 12 o’clock with Speaker Fred Osborne and Speaker Jackie Hicks officiating at the chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Burial will follow in the Tom Sparks Cemetery at Rockridge near Paynesville, W.Va. Hubert Viars, Charles Viars, Otis Vandyke, Coy Lyons, Brian Williams, and Scott Burnett will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, Wednesday evening November 18, 2009 after 6 o’clock.
