PRINCETON — Arios L. “Mick” Perez, 76, of 121 Daisy Street in Princeton died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, W.Va. Born November 2, 1932 in Keystone he was the son of the late Frank and Beatrice Bowman Perez. He was a retired boilermaker and welder. He was also was a U.S. Army veteran. He had been a resident of Princeton for fifteen years, moving here from Oregon. In addition to his parents, his wife, Virginia Belle Lafon Perez preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Simmons and Marvenia Ann Graham and husband Gary, all of Portland, Ore., Mickey Hillis and husband David and Frankie Stahl and husband Mike, all of San Diego, Calif.; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Perez of Washington, D.C. and Ted Perez of Bluefield; niece and nephew, Billy and Jeanie Bridgemen; and special friends, Mickey and Sandra Dickerson of Princeton.
In keeping with Mr. Perez's wishes, the body has been cremated and remains will be buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. There will be no services. On line condolences may be sent at www.seaverfuneralservice.com.
