Flora Maude “Flo” Muzzleman


BANDY, Va. — Flora Maude “Flo” Muzzleman, age 78 of Bandy, Va., passed away Thursday, October 08, 2009 in a Richlands, Va. hospital. Born August 9, 1931 in Bandy, Va. she was the daughter of the late John and Maggie Creed Bandy. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church at Bandy and the Willing Workers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Blake Muzzleman; brothers, Arby Bandy, Basel Bandy, Ferrell Bandy and Theo Bandy; sisters, Zelma Gay Brewster and Edith Marie Beavers.

She is survived by her son, Barry Muzzleman and wife, Donna of Cedar Bluff; daughters, Linda Yates of Richlands, Sherry Sturges and husband, Don of Richlands and Robin Muzzleman of Cedar Bluff; sisters, Fern Brown of Cedar Bluff and Nora Sparks and husband, Boyd of Cedar Bluff; grandchildren, Kevin Yates, Roger Robinson, Jonathan Yates and wife, Amanda, Vanessa Hodge and husband, Ronnie, Jeremy Muzzleman and Barry Muzzleman, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Meagan Yates, Ethan Fuller and Owen Hodge; special friend, Wanda Lester; friend and caregiver, Bobby Johnson and Patricia Rife.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Va. with the Rev. Marvin Nipper and the Rev. Danny Starling officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Va.
