Gov. Joe Manchin shakes hands with the members of the 1st Battalion of the 150th Armored Reconnaissance Squadron during a deployment ceremony at the Brushfork National Guard Armory Thursday. The soldiers will leave West Virginia early today en route to Fort Pickett, Va., for training. From Fort Pickett they are scheduled to be deployed to Iraq in April.
